We’re currently looking for an Assistant Property Fitout Coordinator to join our Property & Fitout team. About the Role

As Assistant Property Fitout Coordinator, you’ll support the delivery of property fitouts and refurbishments across our residential and community services. You’ll work closely with internal teams and external suppliers to help ensure our properties are fully prepared, furnished, and fit for purpose – from legal handover to move-in day.

This is a varied role, covering everything from site visits and design choices to coordinating deliveries and assisting with legal or insurance documentation. It’s ideal for someone who enjoys being involved in the detail and is comfortable juggling multiple projects at once.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with property searches and legal processes for property purchases.
  • Support the coordination of internal site visits, and documentation for refinancing and funding applications.
  • Help prepare insurance documentation and ensure smooth handovers of cover during construction and fitout phases.
  • Attend site meetings with internal departments (e.g., Operations, Health & Safety, IT) to support planning and timelines.
  • Assist with design and fitout tasks such as:
    • Selecting interior finishes, paint, flooring, and kitchen layouts
    • Ordering and coordinating delivery of furniture, medical equipment, and household items
    • Managing quotes and purchase orders
  • Schedule and oversee fitout weeks in collaboration with contractors and maintenance teams.
  • Provide support for refurbishments or upgrades to existing properties.
  • Liaise with service teams to personalise fitouts for service users where required.
  • Help maintain compliance with regulatory and brand standards (e.g., HIQA, fire safety plans).

What We’re Looking For

  • A proactive team player with strong organisational and multitasking skills
  • Experience or interest in property coordination, interiors, or fitout projects
  • Comfortable working with suppliers and contractors and managing multiple priorities
  • Good communication skills and attention to detail
  • A flexible, can-do attitude and willingness to travel to various sites as needed
  • Familiarity with purchase orders, quotes, and budgets is a bonus
