Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Financial Analyst to join our dynamic finance team. This role is critical to providing in-depth financial analysis, supporting decision-making processes, and driving technological advancements within the ACC business.

The Financial Analyst will also be responsible for reviewing monthly management accounts, preparing financial reports, and contributing to ad hoc projects aimed at optimising operational efficiency.

Advanced Community Care (ACC) is a specialised division of Resilience Healthcare, an Irish-owned independent health and social care provider. ACC focuses on delivering home-based, complex healthcare services to children and adults with intricate medical needs across Ireland.

Key Responsibilities

1. Financial Analysis and Reporting

  • Conduct detailed financial analysis to support strategic decision-making and identify areas for improvement.
  • Prepare and present monthly and annual financial reports, including variance analysis and forecasting.
  • Analyse key performance indicators (KPIs) to provide actionable insights to stakeholders.

2. Review of Monthly Management Accounts

  • Collaborate with the finance team to review and finalise monthly management accounts.
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data and reports.
  • Investigate discrepancies, variances, and anomalies, and provide recommendations for corrective actions.

3. Ad Hoc Financial Projects

  • Participate in and lead financial projects, such as cost reduction initiatives, profitability analysis, and revenue growth strategies.
  • Support the evaluation and implementation of technology advancements within the finance function.
  • Contribute to process improvement projects, enhancing efficiency and accuracy in financial operations.

4. Technology and System Advancements

  • Assist in the identification and implementation of new financial tools and software to improve reporting and analysis capabilities.
  • Provide insights and recommendations on leveraging technology to streamline workflows and improve data visualisation.

5. Collaboration and Communication

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to gather data and insights needed for financial reporting and analysis.
  • Act as a key liaison between the finance team and other departments, ensuring alignment on financial goals and objectives.

Qualifications

  • Part or full qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA).
  • 2+ years’ experience as an analyst.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in using software systems and tools.
