Business Development Executive (Leinster)

Purpose of Role

The Business Development Executive will play a pivotal role in commercially driving the growth of Resilience Healthcare’s disability services by building and maintaining strong relationships with key community stakeholders, identifying and progressing new service opportunities, and promoting Resilience Healthcare’s person-centred approach within local communities.

Working closely with the Senior Business Development Manager, the role will support the delivery of year-on-year strategic growth objectives through the achievement of agreed monthly KPIs and targets, contributing to the sustainable expansion and positive reputation of Resilience Healthcare’s services.

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Working with stakeholders to promote Resilience Healthcare’s services, achieving target-driven sales of existing and new service developments across both residential and community settings.
  • Identify new service development opportunities within disability services, with a primary focus on centre-based services, alongside community services (e.g. day services, day respite).
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with disability stakeholders, primarily HSE and Tusla commissioners, as well as schools and other disability organisations.
  • Maintain a strong focus on ensuring current services are maximised and reach full occupancy.
  • Collaborate with the Business Development Manager on project scoping, feasibility assessments, and funding applications.
  • Represent Resilience Healthcare at community events, forums, and partnership meetings to enhance visibility and credibility within the disability sector.
  • Liaise closely with operational teams to ensure alignment between service development initiatives and front-line service delivery.
  • Work alongside marketing and communications colleagues to promote new services and initiatives.
  • Conduct market research and service mapping to identify unmet needs within the community.
  • Support the preparation of proposals, tender responses, and funding submissions aligned to identified opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records on Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems and project trackers, capturing engagement and development activity.
  • Prepare regular reports for the Business Development Manager outlining progress, insights, and recommendations.

Eligibility Criteria

Qualifications & Experience

·        Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a business development, service development, or stakeholder engagement role within healthcare, disability services, or a related sector.

·        Experience working towards measurable targets or KPIs in a commercial or service growth environment.

·        Demonstrated experience in promoting services and engaging with external stakeholders.

·        Proven ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with a range of internal and external stakeholders.

·        Strong organisational and project coordination skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

·        Experience using CRM systems or similar tools to track activity and progress (desirable).

Education

·        Degree in Social Care, Business, or a related discipline is desirable.

Full, clean driver’s licence and willingness to travel as required.
