- Both you and your referral must still be employed at the 6-month mark.
- Reward is based on their average weekly hours, calculated over the first 6 months.
- Referral must be submitted before your friend is hired.
- The person who referred their friend cannot be involved in the hiring process
*active means they are not serving a notice period and have successfully passed their probation.
*Effective for individuals who are referred and commence employment on or after 01/07/2025.
Terms and Conditions:
This award is payable to the referring employee after the hired candidate has satisfactorily completed their probationary period and a minimum of six calendar months’ employment with the company. There is no limit to the number of referrals an employee can make but, if more than 1 benefit is given in a year, only the first one qualifies for tax-free status. Second, third and subsequent payments may be subject to Benefit-in-Kind taxation.
To receive the award, both the employee who made the referral, and the candidate who was referred, must be employed at the time the award becomes payable. For tracking purposes, the candidate must clearly stipulate the name of the referee when this initial application is made. Please note that payments cannot be made retrospectively if the correct process is not followed.
Any individual that might be involved in the selection process must exclude themselves from the entire recruitment process, if a candidate whom they have referred is under consideration. If they do not do so, the award will be withheld. The company will only conduct interviews with those referred candidates who meet the company’s required needs and will extend employment offers to those candidates who are the most qualified and suitable for the role, regardless of how the candidate came to the employer’s attention.
