Maria Kirby, Head of Clinical Services, is a registered nurse in Intellectual Disabilities, has a degree in Human Resource Management and a masters in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) & Motivational Interviewing (MI) Skills, specialising in the area of developmental Trauma. She has over 35 years’ experience of working in the Disabilities Sector and has spent 20 of them managing clinical teams.

Maria leads our Clinical Services Team which comprises occupational therapists, speech and language therapists, dietician and behaviour support specialists. They collaborate to enhance service user’s quality of life and well-being, focusing on independence, communication skills, and emotional regulation.
