Job Title: Support Worker
Location: Ardee, Co. Louth
Contract: Permanent Full Time, Part Time and Relief hours available
Basic Hourly Rate: €15.00 per hour (Premium rates apply to night, weekend and public holiday shifts)

What We’re Looking For
- QQI Level 5 Major Award (or above) in health or social care, or equivalent
- Full clean Irish Driver’s Licence
- 3 Work References

Key Responsibilities of Support Worker
- Provide high-quality, safe, and person-centred support to individuals with additional needs, promoting independence and wellbeing
- Implement, monitor, and contribute to the development of individualised care and support plans
- Support service users with activities of daily living, including personal and intimate care, in a respectful and dignified manner
- Assist with daily household tasks such as cooking, cleaning, laundry, and shopping to maintain a safe and comfortable environment
- Support service users to access community activities, appointments, education, and social opportunities
- Act as a Key Worker when required, advocating for service users and supporting goal setting and achievement
- Administer medication and follow all clinical and organisational policies and procedures
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date records and complete all required documentation in line with company and regulatory standards
- Report and record all incidents, accidents, and safeguarding concerns in accordance with policy and legislation
- Work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team, including liaising with families and external professionals
- Support the development and review of risk assessments and ensure safe working practices at all times
- Promote positive relationships and maintain professional communication with service users, colleagues, and stakeholders
- Support service users in managing personal finances where required
- Participate in team meetings, training, and continuous professional development
- Work flexibly across a 24/7 service, including nights and weekends (for Residential and Supported Living Services)
- Work flexibly across days, evenings and some weekends (for Day, Outreach and Home from Home Services)
- Uphold the organisation’s values, policies, and standards at all times
