About the Role
The Nurse is responsible for delivering safe, high-quality, person-centred nursing care to individuals supported by Resilience within our residential services.
Working in partnership with the Service Manager, multidisciplinary teams and Support Workers, you’ll promote health, wellbeing and independence while ensuring care is delivered in line with professional nursing standards, HIQA regulations and individual support plans.
Responsibilities
- Deliver safe, person-centred nursing care
- Administer and manage medications in accordance with clinical guidelines
- Monitor health needs and respond to changing clinical requirements
- Support clinical governance, quality assurance and regulatory compliance
- Provide clinical guidance and support to Support Workers
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and records
- Identify, report and respond to safeguarding concerns, incidents and clinical risks
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, families and external healthcare professionals
- Promote health, dignity, independence and positive outcomes for individuals supported
- Maintain high standards of health, safety and professional nursing practice
Essential
- Registered Nurse with active NMBI registration
- Nursing qualification recognised by NMBI
- Experience providing nursing care within residential, community, disability or similar healthcare settings
- Experience with medication management and clinical documentation
- Knowledge of HIQA standards, safeguarding legislation and professional nursing practice
- Experience working within multidisciplinary teams
- Excellent written and spoken English
- Full, clean Irish driving licence
- Flexibility to work within a 24/7 residential roster, including evenings and weekends
