HR Business Partner – Hybrid Fixed Term Contract (Maternity Cover)
Purpose of the Role
As HR Business Partner, you will play a key role in shaping the employee experience, supporting managers, and driving initiatives that foster engagement, well-being, and retention. This role is central to enabling our teams to thrive and deliver high-quality care, by ensuring our people processes are effective, future-focused, and aligned to our values. |
![]() Key Responsibilities
Employee Experience & Engagement · Lead the employee lifecycle, from onboarding to exit, ensuring each stage reflects our culture and values. · Drive engagement through onboarding surveys, new hire feedback, and exit insights — translating data into practical actions that improve retention. · Champion communication and recognition initiatives, including HR updates and service awards.
People Processes & Compliance · Ensure HR policies, contracts, and role profiles are up to date, compliant with legislation, and fit for purpose. · Audit People Planner on a quarterly basis to maintain data accuracy and integrity. · Deliver clear HR metrics and KPI reports, highlighting trends and opportunities for improvement.
Manager Support & Coaching · Act as a trusted advisor to managers, providing guidance on HR queries and best practice. · Support managers with absence, leave management, and occupational health matters. · Partner with managers during probation, performance, and development reviews, ensuring processes are followed consistently.
Employee Relations · Lead investigations, disciplinary hearings, and related processes, ensuring fair and consistent outcomes. · Provide coaching and support to managers on employee relations issues to build confidence and capability. · Monitor and follow up on workplace incidents, ensuring well-being and safety remain a priority.
HR Projects & Initiatives · Deliver engaging induction sessions for new employees and contribute to service launch onboarding. · Actively promote HR initiatives through Viva Engage and other communication channels. · Support the Head of HR with cross-functional projects aligned to our people strategy. |
Qualifications / Experience
- Diploma/Degree in Human Resource Management or a related field.
- CIPD membership (or working towards).
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a HRBP or HR Coordinator role.
- Solid knowledge of Irish employment law and HR best practice.
- Proven ability to influence, coach, and build strong relationships at all levels.
- Analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and drive action.
- Strong facilitation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
