About the Role
As a Support Worker you’ll provide person-centred support to individuals across residential and community services, helping people achieve greater independence, develop life skills and participate fully in their communities.
Every day is different. This role is an in-home support service. You’ll support an adult with daily living, personal care, community access, education, employment, leisure and achieving their personal goals.
What You’ll Do
- Deliver high-quality person-centred support
- Act as a Key Worker for allocated individuals
- Support personal care while maintaining dignity and respect
- Administer medication in line with policy
- Assist individuals to access their community
- Support daily household activities
- Complete care documentation accurately
- Work closely with families and multidisciplinary teams
- Promote safeguarding and positive outcomes
What You’ll Bring
Essential:
- QQI Level 5 qualification
- Qualification in Healthcare, Social Care or related discipline
- Excellent spoken and written English
- Understanding of safeguarding and person-centred practice
Desirable:
- Experience working in disability, autism or social care
- Knowledge of Lamh (or willingness to learn)
- Full driving licence preferred but not essential
