Our progressive Advanced Community Care specialist division takes specialist nursing out of hospitals and into the homes of those with complex needs. We’re looking for nurses to join our Permanent Team and deliver one-to-one nursing care, nursing at its best. You’ll be part of a supportive, nurse-led team that focuses on helping those you care for live more empowered lives. Location: Gorey, Wexford (Community Based)
Type of contract: Part-time (Flexible Hours)
Hours of work: Flexible – day, evening and occasional weekend hours

Skills Required
We are looking for empathetic, energetic, and conscientious professionals who are:
- Registered Nurses (NMBI)
- Hold a full, clean driving licence
- Non-smokers with a reasonable level of fitness
- Display the competence, confidence and commitment to work as part of the Advanced Community Care team;
Experience in any of the following is highly desirable:

Gastrostomy care
-
Use of BiPAP
-
Suctioning and cough assist
-
Personal care support in a respectful, age-appropriate manner
Previous community care experience – such as one-to-one care in the home – is an advantage, but full training will be provided!
Job Responsibilities
You will:

Provide one-to-one personal support as directed by the individual

Enable participation in social and community-based activities

Support clinical needs safely and professionally

Communicate clearly and compassionately

Maintain accurate records where required

Work collaboratively as part of a small, dynamic support team
