Type of contract: Part-Time Relief
Hours of work: Daytime hours, including Saturdays (based on care needs and availability)

Skills Required
As a Nurse caring for a teenager with complex medical needs in a home setting, you should:
-
Have current NMBI registration
-
Be a Registered General Nurse (RGN) or Registered Children’s Nurse (RCN)
-
Have recent experience in community or complex care (desirable)
-
Display the competence, confidence and commitment to work as part of the Advanced Community Care team
-
Have experience or training in:
-
Enteral feeding (via gastrostomy/PEG)
-
Bowel and bladder care
-
Seizure recognition and management protocols
-
Job Responsibilities
You will:
-
Provide one-to-one nursing care to a teenager with complex needs in their home environment
-
Follow and implement a personalised Care Plan
-
Deliver clinical care including seizure management, enteral feeding, and continence care
-
Carry out your nursing role according to the Code of Professional Conduct and Ethics for Registered Nurses

Comply with evidence-based practice while maintaining and developing your own professional competence
-
Collaborate closely with the family and relevant healthcare professionals
-
Accurately communicate and document clinical updates, incidents, and interventions
