The Role
To provide safe, high-quality nursing care to individuals supported by Resilience in residential services. The Nurse plays a key role in promoting health, wellbeing, and independence in line with person-centred plans, HIQA standards, and professional nursing practice.
The role provides clinical leadership within the service, supporting safe medication management, health monitoring, and guidance to Support Workers, while working collaboratively with the Service Manager and multidisciplinary professionals.

What We’re Looking For
Experience
- Experience delivering nursing care in a residential, community, disability, or similar healthcare setting.
- Experience supporting individuals with healthcare needs in a person-centred, respectful manner.
- Experience in medication administration, documentation, and adherence to clinical protocols.
- Experience working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Experience identifying, reporting, and responding to clinical risks, incidents, or safeguarding concerns.
Exposure
- Confidence working within HIQA-regulated services and adhering to relevant standards, policies, and procedures.
- Readiness to provide personal and intimate care while maintaining dignity, privacy, and professional boundaries.
- Exposure to clinical governance processes, including audits, inspections, or quality improvement activities.
- Comfort supporting and guiding Support Workers from a clinical perspective.
- Willingness to work flexibly within a 24/7 service model, including evenings and weekends.
Education
- Registered Nurse with active NMBI registration (Essential).
- Relevant nursing qualification recognised by NMBI.
- Strong knowledge of safeguarding legislation, professional boundaries, and ethical nursing practice.
- Knowledge of HIQA standards and regulatory requirements.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and mandatory training.
- Excellent command of spoken and written English.
A full, clean Irish driving licence is essential.
