Job Title: Social Care Worker
Location: Rathmore, Co. Kerry
Contract: Permanent Full Time, Part Time and Relief hours available
Basic Hourly Rate: From €16.50 per hour (Premium rates apply to night, weekend and public holiday shifts)

What We’re Looking For
- Level 7 Degree in Social Care (or equivalent)
- Registration with CORU
- Full Clean Irish driving license essential
- Right to work in Ireland
- Experience working in social care, disability services, residential care or community based services
- Experience supporting individuals with complex needs and person-centred supports
- Experience working as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Experience supporting or mentoring colleagues, students or new staff is desirable
- Experience in undertaking shift leadership responsibilities is advantageous.

Key Responsibilities of Social Care Worker
- Support and empower individuals to live fulfilling, independent lives using a person-centred approach
- Contribute to the development, implementation, and review of personalised care/support plans
- Provide personal and intimate care while respecting privacy, dignity, and choice
- Assist with daily living activities, including household tasks, community participation, and transportation
- Administer medication and carry out tasks in line with policy and training
- Maintain accurate daily records and service documentation
- Report safeguarding concerns, incidents, accidents, and potential risks promptly
- Communicate professionally with service users, families, colleagues, and external stakeholders
- Work as part of a team, including attending meetings, training, and supervision
- Work flexibly across a 24/7 service, including day, evening, weekend, and outreach shifts
