Location: Hybrid role from Resilience HQ in Ennis, Co. Clare

Type of contract: Full-time permanent

Hours of work: Monday to Thursday from 08.45 to 17.30, Fridays from 08.45 to 16.30

About the role

The successful candidate will be a key player in the business. This role sits at the heart of what the business and the marketing team are delivering, and has two distinct areas of focus, ie: Events and Marketing.

Events

Working with the wider Marketing, Sales, HR, and Senior Executive teams, you will be tasked with organising all external and internal events. This will include all aspects of event management – from venue hire, invite lists, catering and AV to the design and creation of all marketing material (promotional material, flyers, brochures, packs, etc.).

External events
  • Recruitment Open Days (run by organisations or colleges)
  • Local events (fairs, seminars etc.)
Internal events
  • Resilience Recruitment Open Days
  • Service Openings (launches or openings of new Resilience services)
  • Internal seminars (Resilience employee/education seminars)

Marketing

In conjunction with the events operations, you will also get involved in:

  • media relations,
  • offline media buying (local paper, radio ads, etc.),
  • PR activities, and
  • ongoing communication with our stakeholders (ie. customers, website subscribers, employees etc.) through Ezines and Newsletters.

Suitability for the role

This is an exciting and varied role that will suit someone who thrives in a fast paced and supportive environment. Someone that is organised and flexible and able to improvise when necessary.

The Resilience business operates on a principal of IROAR (Individual Radical Ownership and Responsibility), which will give the right candidate the freedom to shape and evolve this role over time.

We are looking for doers – people who can role up their sleeves and get stuck in!

Requirements

In an ideal world you would have a Marketing or Events qualification along with solid experience in marketing, events and/or project management, but we appreciate that people have transferable skills and that not everyone has an official qualification. We know that people coming from a variety of backgrounds bring experience and expertise that will enable them to do this job, so let us start a conversation and see where it leads.
