Purpose of the Role
The Business Administrator will assume responsibility for supporting the Social Care business and will co-ordinate activities to help the flow of business operations. The post holder will play a key role in the administration tasks associated with HIQA. The Business Administrator will provide administrative support to the Director of Social Care.
Roles & Responsibilities:
The following list of responsibilities is not exhaustive and other duties will be assigned from time to time.
- Provide executive administrative support to the Director of Social Care and team
- Support the administration processes associated with HIQA including the registration/variations of Residential Services
- Co-ordinate meetings including agenda, invites, meeting room bookings, lunches etc. and ensure minutes are recorded accurately and actions are followed up by all those involved.
- Responsible for all travel arrangements for the Director of Social Care and Senior Management Team.
- General office administration to include typing, filing etc.
- Administration of Purchase Order System.
- Reconciliation of monthly expenses and credit cards.
- Annual leave management and approval for all direct reports to Director of Social Care
- Ordering cards, gifts, vouchers, presents etc. for different occasions
- Adopt and act in a customer service mode and as an ambassador for Resilience.
- Liaising with IT to arrange delivery of IT equipment
- Coordinator archiving to secure storage manage this process start to finish
- Assist with drafting of policies, procedures and processes
Essential/Role Requirements:
- Proven experience of planning and managing successful projects is highly desirable
- Demonstrable ability to effectively conduct business writing
- High standard of spoken and written English and ability to present written material clearly and concisely
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to complete projects in accordance with strict deadlines.

Terms & Conditions
- Contract: Perm Full-Time, Monday to Friday
- Salary: €30,000 depending on experience
- Benefits: 20 days annual leave, Health Insurance after 6-months.
